My name is Erica and this site is all about the fantastic species known as the tortoise beetle. These little insects are very unique and have beautiful colors and patterns. There is information on the ecology, physiology (including digestion, reproduction, development, regulation, and gas exchange), genetics and evolution of tortoise beetles. Have fun exploring the world of tortoise beetles and enjoy!
